How to incorporate cutouts in board outline

#1 Post by AndyMic » 31 Jul 2025, 13:21

Hi,
I need to cut out the four corners of a board for a guitar pedal I'm building.
The corners are 90 degree curve at 6.5mm radius.
The fab house don't understand that I want the cutout removed.
Is there a way to create what I want in a pure board outline?

Have you tried sending something like this to the board house?...

Set appropriate grid size, 0.5 mm for example. Click "Place Board Outline" icon and start the first side of the board outline. Click the next point at 6.5 mm to the board corner, then right click, choose "Arc" from submenu, define arc center and arc finish point. Then continue board outline and make another side of the board. And so on until you finish the contour.

Is there any way to automatically create a route keepout just inside the board outline?

Cheers
