Hello,
I've been using DipTrace for years but have never tried creating a schematic until now. I'm having trouble getting it to work. When I open the schematic and select a part to place, the part appears on the cursor, but when I click to place it, it disappears and doesn't get placed. After that, I can't select another part; I have to close the program and restart it, but the same issue happens again.
I suspect something isn't set up correctly. I've watched tutorials but still can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Re: diptrace schematic problem
Thank you for the report but I have never seen the issue. Could you create screen video to show the problem and share on the forum.

Re: diptrace schematic problem
This may be related to the graphics mode. Try changing it in View / Graphics Mode. If that doesn’t help, please record a video and share it.helena566 wrote: 02 Dec 2025, 04:13Yikes, that must be annoyingfeliciacamp wrote: 16 May 2025, 04:04 Hello,
