Backgound:
If I right click on an unattached pin, I have an option to "Add to Net", then name the net and then click "Connect Without Wire". I have used that successfully.
The result is a small arrow with the net name, making the schematic obvious that there is a connection somewhere else on the schematic and to what node name the pin is assigned. The matching connection pin on the other side of the schematic is created the same way and all is good
Problem:
However, if my matching connection pin is attached to a wire, for example a capacitor to ground. I can't do the same type net assignment, since it already has a net name (net71) for example, I can only rename it, therefore there is no added "arrow" or visual indication that this net has an additional point of contact somewhere else on the schematic. Simlarly, if I net name the unconnected pin 1st, I can no longer attach a wire to the pin.
Is there a way to produce the desired "offshoot" arrow with net name from a wire or node like done from an unattached pin?
Yes, I know I can produce a component like "T" +5 and call it another name. Yes I know I can show the node name along a wire, but I'm trying to make things look similar and make it obvioius there is a connection(s) elsewhere.
Any ideas?

It is not possible to select a wire and get the "Add to Net" option for it as you can do it for pins. In some cases, you can delete existing wire and get "Add to Net" for disconnected pins. In other cases, you can use different methods to get connections without wires ( by net name, by net ports or buses).
