Indication that route will merge after moving with neighbour segment

Currently, when route split with node is moved and I try to allign it with segment beside, there is no indication that they will merge. I would like that e.g. segment which will merge (nodes between auto removed) will e.g. highlight some way, so it is clear that will happen. Currently I try to be precise, but not always it works.
