I wonder if there is an error log that reports the start up of the program and any errors encountered?

Something I noticed after the new installation is that the software remembered the recent files. This means that there is still something somewhere that I did not delete. I did follow the full instruction though.
I must also mention that I did install the Beta version sometime last year but I deleted that from the system.

Why would the windows launcher link not work. I have to load the programs from the explorer.

Antivirus or security software may block the launcher or executables. If possible, temporarily disable the antivirus or add the DipTrace executables to the exception list, then try launching the application again. Try running it as Administrator. Make sure that the installation path does not contain any non-standard characters.
