DipTrace won't always start on macOS Tahoe

Hi, I'm trying to run DipTrace 5.2.0.4 on macOS 26.2. When I first upgraded from 5.2.0.3 I followed the install instructions and couldn't get it to start. I rebooted my mac and tried again, no luck. I tried again later and DipTrace loaded and I edited a schematic and a PCB successfully. I closed DipTrace when I'd finished and now when I double click the icon, it fails to start.

Are there any debugging steps I can take to find out what's going on? I never had any problems like this with 5.2.0.3 running under macOS sequoia.

First of all, please try launching the application via Finder > Applications > DipTrace. If the launch was unsuccessful, please let us know whether the installation instructions were followed, especially the part about running the xattr command. If not, please reinstall the software, making sure to follow all the instructions.

Also, please let us know the full macOS version and your hardware configuration (Intel or Mx).
