Hello DipTrace community,
I'm experiencing a rather annoying problem when exporting Gerber from a PCB design with a printed logo/silkscreen:
The initial logo is clear and normal.
After exporting and sending it to the printing factory, the actual printed PCB has a blurry logo, distorted lines, and uneven print thickness.
I've tried adjusting the silkscreen layer and checking the DRC, but it still doesn't fix the problem.
I've tried exporting again with all the options, but the result is the same.
I want to ask:
Has anyone encountered a similar error when using DipTrace? If so, how did you adjust the Gerber export parameters?
Do you think it's better to use DXF vector images instead of bitmaps for a clearer logo — has anyone used this method, and what were the results?
For boards with complex silkscreen printing (small text, logos, icons), what are the typical line-width and clearance values you use to ensure good print quality?
I would greatly appreciate it if those of you with experience in PCB manufacturing or who have successfully exported Gerber code could share your knowledge. Thank you in advance!

We recommend that you use vector images instead of raster ones. Here are several discussions on this topic:
