I'm having trouble with Windows 7 hiding files.
I'm having trouble with Windows 7 hiding files.
I'm trying to organize my projects and ran into an issue with Windows 7 hiding some files. I created separate folders within my DipTrace directory—one for each project—to keep things clean and easy to manage. Since each project has multiple files (like old revisions and various board versions), having everything in one big folder was getting messy.

Interesting question !
I save everything to a common folder (PCB_files) with a project name_rev x_ date). The rev is updated with EVERY change, Date format is day (4) month (APR) 2025.
The latter eliminates any confusion - all are on the SCH and PCB. Total simple.

Re: I'm having trouble with Windows 7 hiding files.
My structure:
ROOT:\Application\Project\Revision\Schematic and PCB files
C:\Diptrace\widget\rev0\*.dch and *.dip
In the Project directory I keep the support files like PDF and DXF files, each revision gets a new rev(n) folder in the project folder.
Where your libraries are location is up to you, mine are moved to the C:\Diptrace\library folder
