Please Help! Saved components pads are seen as signals.. I cannot number them

#1 Post by Dorfman21 » 26 Apr 2023, 09:17

I imported GERBER files, and associated them with each layer.. Marked a components in the imported layout and "grouped into a component". Then I saved it into a library.
MY PROBLEM IS that in the pattern editor the imparted and grouped and saved component's pads are seen just as signals.
I cannot number them.. also the paste and the mask layer is not seen when I use this component in the layout (even tough I marked the mask and paste layers when i grouped it into the component and saved).

Please view the attached picture. And help me..

How do I turn those signals into pads?????

In the Pattern Editor, right-click on the edge/border of the copper object that you want to be a pad and select "Convert to Pad" in the context menu. Solder/paste masks and the pad number will be generated automatically...
