DipTrace 4.3 beta - XML for PCB and Schematic

Hi All,
We have updated 4.3 beta today. Full list of new features:
1. New DipTrace XML format for PCB and Schematic;
2. Spice Simulator (NG Spice);
3. Custom column titles for BOM and Pick and Place;
4. Separate SMD and through-hole pads in Layout Information;
5. Many bugs have been found and fixed.

I have yet to try the new Beta, however what is the backwards compatibility with old/existing projects?
Will they need converting/upgrading?

Version 4.2 shows the warning but opens the files saved in the beta verion.
