Facility to incrementally move groups of components by specified amount

A facility to move groups of components incrementally by specified amount of measurement would make it a whole lot easier to copy paste from one board to another a complete PCB layout and then easily align to suit position requirement. There is something similar featured in Adobe Illustrator, a little different where you can copy paste and align by coordinates to a position, even this feature would work, whereby the coordinates could coincide with the bottom left corner for a group of components, which is how illustrator does it. Anyhow, please consider this and perhaps get it on board, would make some things easier.

As workaround, you can customize grid and use arrows to move groups by specific number of grid steps.

+1 on that feature. A translation tool which allow to move multiple selected object or a group of object (pattern, traces, holes, vias ... well any object) by a precise amount would be welcome.

In addition, using math operator in coordinate field would be great.
The format could be something like that =+, =-, =/, =*

So a component having a set of coordinate: X: 1.0mm, Y: 10.mm
I could enter in the X field: += 5.0 and Y field: -= 3.0
Thus the new coordinates of the component would be: X: 6.0mm, Y: 7.0mm

Thanks for the reply, While a customized movement amount for grouped components would be nice, similar to how illustrator works. I see that same can easy be achieved within the custom grid size and arrow movement facility, making it simple easy enough to accomplish accurate placements. Cheers.
