Image/logo in title block editor

#1 Post by mpaalanen » 18 Sep 2021, 19:42

Would it be a big deal to include the possibility of having images (logos) in the title blocks (using the title block editor).
While it is possible to just import an image into a schematic and place it in the title area, it has the problem that zooming the print area during printing also affects such an image rendering it useless.

Title blocks are stored in a dat file. Adding images to the title blocks would require format changes in the file. We will consider the option. But I don't see any problem if a logo is imported in PCB Layout and moved to title block area. I tried with different print scales and result is correct.

Actually, i had the schematic file in mind. There zooming the schematic in print preview (useful to maximize the printed area for clarity) also zooms and misplaces the graphic.

Try to change Graphics Mode from main menu View.

Sorry, i don't mean that the graphics is corrupted in any way. Rather, the image being part of the schematic, not the title, is zoomed along the schematic and thus drifts out of the title box as well as changes in size.
So changing the graphics mode would not do anything useful?
