In Schematics - Right click on a component, add a option in the right click menu options to directly open the component in component editor for editing.

This would only work if it was originally saved in one of you personal libraries as you can't modify the factory libraries. I guess you could add a dialog box to give you the option to save a modified component to your personal library.

DerekG - Sure and if i was wanting to edit a component it would have to be a personal library component anyway because as you said defaults can't be edited. Actually following your logic, since the defaults cannot be edited why have an editor anyway? To modify the defaults and save as your own. Still, if i was in diptrace and would like to change a component i think it would be a handy feature even if i had to move and save to a personal lib.

Bump - I still think this would be a useful feature.
