Mentor Graphics LP Wizard

#1 Post by kingneb » 22 Jan 2011, 00:38

I am using LP Wizard by Mentor Graphics to create land patterns. One problem, how do I get them into DipTrace? The good news is that LP Wizard makes Eagle script files. The bad news, the pattern editor, when I imported it did not import anything (just blank). What is wrong?

Could you please send an example of .scr file from LP wizard for us to check it. We have made import for the files exported from Eagle and Ultra Librarian, but did not optimize them for LP Wizard.

Also I would recommend to use P-CAD ASCII format (.lia) if LP wizard can export it. Eagle Script is quite limited and can not be used to transfer all details.

I tried the PCad. Only the copper layer imports import, not the silkscreen layer, etc.

Make sure that you exported all layers from LP wizard. If yes, please send the .lia file to support@diptrace.com for verification.
