Multipart Value Differs

#1 Post by PaulNewf » 08 Dec 2017, 14:55

Is it normal for the "Value" Field to differ in Multipart Components?
I copied an existing Multipart Component, made some changes, then while using I noticed the Value field was 'old' on some of the parts.
I thought the Value would be same for all the parts, like the Name/RefDes/etc. (==Value shown in BOM).

Using Diptrace3.2.0.1

I'm guessing this is intentional so the user can create components such as resistor arrays containing resistors of different values. A quick way to give all parts of a multi-part component a common value would be to group-select all of its parts, right-click on one of them, select Properties... in the pop-up window, click on the [Main] tab, enter the desired common Value and choose OK.
