Formatting assembly drawing for high density PCB

#1 Post by andrew_ic » 10 May 2022, 04:27

Hello,

I am making a high density PCB with a lot of 0201 components. In the future I may use 01005 size components. The assembly drawing is not very legible even with the font size of component markings set to 1pt. Is it possible to make the font even smaller?

Also is it possible to make the line width of the assembly drawing thinner without editing all of the footprints?

Thanks,
Andrew

It is not possible to make the font smaller than 1pt. But you can change text width from 100% to 80 or 70% in font settings. Also you can customize line width by default in "View -> Line Width".
