Scaling Imported .DXF Files

#1 Post by jom » 15 Oct 2021, 08:24

Hello

It seems each time I received a .DXF file I need to bring into Diptrace it's 1000x too large. I was using Draftsight to scale it down but that option is now gone. Can Diptrace help with this? I've never tried it...at least not recently.

Any help would be appreciated.

Try to change the units in DXF import dialogue.
Also you can send a DXF file to support at diptrace.com if the issue will continue.

OK, it seems the DXF files I am importing are in "mils" and not inches. However, you can't select "mils" for "DXF Units". Any suggestions on getting around this?

Thanks

As variant resave DXF file in another program in "mm" or "inch".
We have added "mil" in our todo list.

Yeah, I did that with my RF simulator. It's a good idea and works but it can be a lot of trouble depending....

Thanks for the update!
