How to change layer of logo image

#1 Post by infinitemach » 16 Sep 2021, 14:39

I imported a board from Eagle. The board has a logo image. In Eagle this image was on layer 200.

When I import the board into DipTrace the logo is there but is not part of the silkscreen in the exported gerber files. I'm thinking that I need to change the layer of the logo but I can't find any way to change its layer.

In Eagle it was straightforward to change the layer of text or image. I can't find any way to do this in DipTrace.

Right click on the image outline, open properties, change type from ??? to silkscreen layer.

In Eagle the image was added as a component, so when I bring up the properties in DipTrace it only shows the properties that a component would have. There is no type property that I can see.

Ungroup the component and then you should be able to manipulate the logo. Alternatively, if you would like it to remain a component, save it to your library and edit it via pattern editor.

Thank you! That worked perfectly.
