Hello,
Beena while since I posted here, but I am having an issue that I am totally stuck on.
Somehow, after months of inactivity with DipTrace I started the software up this morning and it's running version 4.xx. I have a license for 3.x.x.x but I cannot afford the $$ to upgrade right now so I uninstalled DipTrace from my PC, and downloaded version 3.x.x.x and installed that. I registered the software using my license, but when I launch the software and look for parts in the library, it gives me an error that the library is for version 4.x and I have to upgrade.
What?
I found a download from teh DipTrace site of old libraries, but no instructions on how to get the files where they need to go
Any suggestions? I am under a tight deadline here.
Thanks
Jim
EDIT:
I think I got it!
Delete the Lib folder from my DipTrace Directory
Copy the Lib_3.X folder into my Diptrace Folder
Rename teh Lib_3.x to Lib
Restart Diptrace
And it looks like it works
Is this correct?
Trying to revert back to version 3.x.x.x
Re: Trying to revert back to version 3.x.x.x
The uninstaller should remove 4.x libraries, it's strange that it kept them. Anyway, you downloaded and restored 3.x libraries correctly.
