Attached is a schematic of a project that I am working on. I placed J1 and J2 on the schematic with the intention of making 2 holes in the PCB to solder in wires external to the PCB. I would also like to add in 2 other PCB wiring holes for the PS and ground to be soldered from external devices. I'm not sure if J1 and J2 are the appropriate way to go about allocating space on the PCB to make solder holes in the PCB. And I don't know how to do this for the PS and ground terminals/holes to be added to the PCB. Anyone know how to do this?

Re: making holes in PCB
In DipTrace v4.1.2.0 the "Objects Lead Hole Pad" component library will have the solder pads you are looking for.

Re: making holes in PCB
I have v3.3.1.3 installed and cannot find that component in that library. I also cannot find it in a search of all libraries. The closest I can get is the "test point" component, which does have a pattern, so I used this instead. At least there will be a hole in the PCB to solder to. Maybe I should go back and install the newer version, and the only thing stopping me is that I don't want to lose the examples that I have already made in this version of the install.
