Pads in schematic

#1 Post by tubefreak » 27 Apr 2020, 07:58

Hello. Where do I find simple pad thru holes to use in schematic? For connecting wires. Input, Output, Ground, Power etc.

Thanks

I have never been able to find the appropriate library in DipTrace v3, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. It should be easy enough to create your own wire pad patterns and components, though. Just remember to have at least two objects for each pattern (e.g. the pad plus either a silkscreen outline or an assembly layer cross in the center) so that DipTrace will recognize the pad as a pattern. This is how a group of these might appear in the pattern attachment dialog window...
