Importing from PCB Creator (Bay Area Circuits)

#1 Post by Markwards » 01 Jan 2023, 14:49

Hello

I have just installed Dip Trace 4.3 after using Bay Area Circuits' PCB Creator version 3.3 which I believe is powered by DipTrace.

I would like to be able to bring my PCBC projects into DipTrace but when I try to open them in DipTrace I am getting the error message "This file format is supported by DipTrace or Standard+ version of DipTrace only!"

I would appreciate any suggestions as to how I might get around this if possible. Many thanks to DipTrace for the opportunity to try your software. :)

We just purchased DipTrace Lite and now Standard and we keep running into the exact same issue. The board we want to get Gerber out of is a very simple 2-layer board with less than 100pins. Can you help?
