Hi there,
it would be very useful that, for each minor or major update, that on site there was a description or a list of the changes or modifications made.
In this way the user can decide whether it is worth updating, or wait for more important subsequent updates.

Re: DirPrace updates or upgrades
All 4.0.0.x updates include bug-fixes for existing features and minor polishing only. If anything works incorrectly in DipTrace, you can report that here and the next 4.0.0.x build will have it fixed.
For 4.x.x.x updates we will publish list of new features on the web-site.

Re: DirPrace updates or upgrades
Even bug fixes and minor polishing deserves release notes. It's helpful to know which bugs are fixed, especially if you've encountered them.
Re: DirPrace updates or upgrades
For those of us in production environments, release notes of minor bug fixes would be extremely helpful in determining when to schedule an update.
For example, if an update fixes minor bugs that aren't impacting our work, the update would be deferred until time permits.
But if an update fixes bugs that ARE impacting our work, the update would be prioritized.

Agree, fairly major to upgrade eight user installations, especially on Macs, where the license keys disappear each time.
It would be helpful to know what specifically has been fixed to manage the upgrades better.

That has not been the case for a Mac problem where access to user-level directories is still not supported and was reported two to three releases ago.

Unfortunately we can not fix this - DipTrace has access to Wine environment only.mgriebling wrote: ↑05 Aug 2020, 04:30 That has not been the case for a Mac problem where access to user-level directories is still not supported and was reported two to three releases ago.
We now make the list of all small changes/fixes while developing at once. So the next build will have the detailed list for customers. We did only comments within commits + task for testers before and it is quite time-consuming to collect and make user-readable list.
