Sources of NGSpice models?

#1 Post by bird » 21 Dec 2022, 15:28

It is a big upgrade in V4.3 to include Spice. Because not much information is available yet for DT-Spice, I wonder where are the sources of the Spice models? Does software come with pre-installed models? How and where is it possible to get more Spice models which are compatible with DT ? Can LTSpice models be installed into DT or converted?
Do you include models for different types of basic switches , for ex. voltage-controlled DPDT switch model?
The "training.pdf" still says the simulator is not available.
Would be great to get a separate doc on using DT-Spice and also to create a forum category specifically for it.
With gratitude for this tool,
Vlad

There are Spice models provided by manufacturers , for ex. TI provides PSpice models. Those zip file have a lot of content. What Spice files should be used for DT to recognize them? Where to download them so that DT could find them and show in the Spice model (as tutorial shows)?
Here is example https://www.ti.com/product/TLV6703 providing PSpice zip . What file to extract and where to put it for DT ?
Thanks in advance
