Re: Can epm570t100c5n be hot-swappable?
Yes:
MAX ® II devices offer hot socketing, also known as hot plug-in or hot swap, and
power sequencing support. Designers can insert or remove a MAX II board in a
system during operation without undesirable effects to the system bus. The hot
socketing feature removes some of the difficulties ...

Re: Coloring a component in the schematic
Thanks for your 2 cents.
And what would the Diptrace team think of this?
As a person that owns the DipTrace Full package and designs PCBs having Push and Shove completed before I die from old age would be a good thing but watching every new user of DipTrace post their wondrous new features ...

Re: Coloring a component in the schematic
Would it be a big deal to implement the feature that is so common in the other pcb cad programs, i.e. a selectable component fill color.
I am a very happy user of the pcb editor trace coloring option and consider it a real benefit in helping to visually parse the network.
IMO a similar benefit ...

Re: Are there plans for native Diptrace on Linux ?
DipTrace works fine on Linux under Wine. We strongly recommend to use stable version of Wine and install 32-bit version of DipTrace.

Re: DipTrace 4.2.0.1 - cursor disappears
The only application I've found that doesn't hide the cursor has been GIMP, regardless of the mouse settings it always displays the cursor. TurboCad, Paint and other drawing applications hide the cursor with the setting unchecked.
