Re: How can I see a connection point?

By the way, how do I make it with autorouter? Are you referring to having the autorouter define the "ground" plane? To my knowledge, the autorouter will not calculate planes. Those need to be drawn individually by defining corner coordinates. However, as far as I know, the autorouter will honor the...

Re: How can I see a connection point?

I get the same behavior using DipTrace 3.3.0.1. Am I missing something in the settings? On another note; I'm not sure exactly what your circuit is doing but it does appear that all of the the signal traces that are named GND are snaking around to their connection points on the board. Typically you w...

Re: DipTrace 32-bit vs 64-bit

See post #9 by jimijam in this thread:

I followed those instructions and the 64-bit version now displays correctly on my monitors.

Re: High DPI Monitor on 3.0.0.2

I use DipTrace 64 bit on hi-resolution monitors and have this same issue. This morning I implemented the workaround posted by user jimijam (post #9 in this thread). DipTrace appears to be working well and the other primary software I use (SolidWorks) appears to run without issue.

Click the "Full Editor & Preview" button in the Quick Reply area then you can drag and drop an image into the editor window. Once that is done there is an option to "Place Inline."

Re: circle is not appear , footprint (export gerber)

I've noted this issue also. What I've found is that circles on the silkscreen layer (in my case they represent leaded electrolytic capacitors) display in some Gerber viewers but not in others. So far, circles have all shown correctly on the boards that have been ordered. They do not display in gerbv...

Re: Patterns should NOT be tied to schematics!

I replace components in designs quite often and have not experienced this issue. My process: 1. Right click on the component in the Schematic Editor. 2. Select "Replace part..." and select the new part from the appropriate library. 3. Save the schematic. 4. In the PCB Editor select "Renew Layout fro...
