Re: Diagonal wires in schematic capture

So did diagonal wires ever get added to the schematic? Stepping them as above looks pretty bad and it seems like it would be quite a basic feature to have.

This was the only reference to it I could find on the forum.

Delete a Net

I was just about finished with a board and was doing some last changes when I seem to have inadvertently created some extra nets. The are very small, so small that they are located in the hole of a pad, there are three and now when I run a design rules check I get a bunch of errors. They are not vis...

Re: 2.9 Beta Pattern Editor background color

I'm back in black now, I can put the sunglasses away. It didn't work at first, I had to go into the colour options and then click ok, even though I didn't change anything. It seems that schematic saves the colour for component editor and pcb for pattern, I needed to do both. Anyway all good now, tha...

Re: 2.9 Beta Pattern Editor background color

It seems that in order for the colors to properly transfer I need to 'run as admin' on the install file. The background color now works properly. Running as administrator didn't work for me, schematic and PCB are black background but component and pattern editor are bright bright white and I can't ...

Creating a board with a central cut-out

I am making a board which needs to have a 13mm hole in the middle, it is essentially a doughnut shape. Is it possible to have a board that has more than one outline? After I make a second outline the first disappears. I can't just make the central hole a drilled hole as the board house only accepts ...

Re: 5 vdc Reg. Heat Sink Area

I do this with a copper pour attached to the relevant net, you can make it any shape or size to fit in with the surrounding components. I doubt that adding solder will have much affect as the copper will do most of the work. Thermal vias can also be added to conduct the heat to the other side of the...

Automatic subscription to thread you have posted in??

Usually on forums when I post in a thread I am by default automatically subscribed to it so I get an email when there are new posts.

I can’t seem to find an option to set this in control panel and need to manually subscribe each time to get notification, is there a way to do this automatically?
