Re: Are 0805 Inductor Footprints Not Standardized?
Hello, Baseball Bros IO
I’ve noticed that 0805 inductor footprints often vary in size compared to standard 0805 passive components.
Is there a specific reason for this difference, such as current rating, magnetic fields, or manufacturing tolerances?
Why aren’t all 0805 inductor footprints ...

Re: Schematic and Pcb does not load anymore
Try removing all program data and reinstalling the program on a different drive where the operating system is not installed.

The free version works the same as the paid one; there is no difference.mariusl wrote: 17 Jan 2026, 16:04 Is the paid version going to have the same issues or is this just with the free version?

Re: Schematic and Pcb does not load anymore
Besides the antivirus, also try disabling the firewall.
If you installed the 64-bit version of DipTrace, try installing the 32-bit version instead.

Re: Schematic and Pcb does not load anymore
What operating system are you using?
When Schematics starts, try changing Graphics Mode in the main menu View, then restart Schematics.

Re: Schematic and Pcb does not load anymore
Try temporarily rename the Data Unicode folder in `C:\ProgramData\DipTrace`.
It also contains the program settings.
After that, run the program. If the problem persists, rename the folder back.
Also try running Schematics and PCB Layout as an administrator.
