Re: How to create custom pad/pour with partial solder mask in specific areas

I still don't quite understand how the approach got to this outcome nor why the soldermask imported into the pattern editor has lines connected all over the place: Any clarification to learn how all of this works and understand what's going on, would be awesome! Imported file consists of many layer...

Re: DipTrace 5.0 beta

The second iteration of the " Via Shielding " tool is very nice. Being able to easily delete the shielding of specific segments of a trace is a time saver. There was one minor error that popped up during a cursory test, so here is a screenshot showing an example... We are still working on...

Re: DipTrace 5.0 beta

Hi All, We have updated beta today: 1. Fixing all issues described above. 2. Improving Via Stitching/Via Shielding feature: stitching overlapping areas, excluding other net copper pours with higher priority, deleting via stitching/shielding. 3. Re: Rigid-flex Design Support

Well, it's 2024, and we're still waiting. I was excited to see the release of the V5.0 beta - I just KNEW there'd be support for rigid-flex designs in there. Nope! C'mon guys! Help us out! We are now working on interactive (push and shove) router as the priority for 5.0, not rigid-flex yet. Rigid-f...

Re: DipTrace 5.0 beta

Plugin: Open Soldermask... 1) Clicking on OK sends DipTrace to the background. This will bring either the launcher or another open program to the foreground. 2) Would it be possible to provide a way to enter a unique trace soldermask width opening value that is different from the default, or would ...

Re: Push and Shove Development

I have completed pushing of differential pairs. Debug is still needed and some issues exist, but generally it works as it should. The next step is integration of the algorithm within manual routing, DRC and other program features. Video consists of 2 parts: typical differential pair when there is a ...
