Need help identifying resistor values!

So I just purchased a faulty Dell U2412Mb 24" monitor. When you turn it on the power light just flashes, so i took it apart and noticed a burnt resistor on the power supply board. It obviously needs to be replaced but I need to know the values of the resistor, so I was wondering if you could help me...

Formaldehyde sensor can't work with it through I2C

Hello! I have the formaldehyde sensor but can't work with it through I2C. I seem to get errors. Also, its embedded-common file is different from the other sensors . Can anyone help me with this since I have scd40, sht40, sgp40, and sfa30 on my board? I want the embedded-common library you have for i...

Capacitive Proximity Sensing Technology in Smartphones

Infrared (IR) proximity sensors are currently widely used in smartphones to prevent accidental touches on the touch screen caused by the user's face during a call while reducing power consumption. The IR sensor has the advantages of long detection distance and fast response speed, but its expensive ...

Is it true that turned off PCs get older/broken if its turned off for too long?

:D Thanks to technology I became more paranoid every day, is it true that turned-off computers can get older in terms of lifespan or gets a break in some way if they are stay turned off for too long time? I always thought the dust and overheating are the enemies. I've seen this saying "The Best" cap...

NCP1380B Application Problem

;) Hey, guys! Now I have an NCP1380B application problem. It's about the switch between QR mode and VCO mode . Using NCP1380B as a switching power supply, the output voltage is 24V, 3.75A. The no-load power consumption is below 0.5W when the input voltage is 220Vac, but the no-load power consumption...

How to solder a 70 °C (158 °F) thermal fuse

For my DMX project (schematics is not important), I soldered this thermal fuse which has just two leads (see picture below). The fuse doesn't work (meaning it does not conduct electricity) ... which of course is logical since my soldering station has a minimum temperature of 200 °C (392 °F) (althoug...

How to design a transformer-coupled front end for ADC converters

The design of a high-speed analog-to-digital converter (ADC) system with a high input frequency (IF) has always proven to be a challenging task. The use of transformers makes this task more difficult because transformers are inherently non-linear, and these non-linear characteristics can make perfor...
