Some mouse / key enhancements?

It would be helpful (and probably not too difficult to implement) to have some traditional mouse / key behaviors like these: When nudging a symbol (Schematics) or component (PCB Layout) with a cursor key, pressing a Shift or Ctrl key will increment the movement by a greater distance. When dragging a...

Feature Requests, v4

PCB Layout and Pattern Editor: When adding a 3D Model to a footprint, the current rotary slider controls are tedious and inaccurate to use for proper placement. Using spin edits instead of the sliders to incrementally shift, rotate and scale will provide the ability to hold the mouse down and match ...

Re: Link PCB and Schematic editors

Agreed. My old Orcad had that cross-probing ability, and it was a great tool.

Re: DipTrace 4.0 beta

Here is the dxf file that has a problem with locating the mounting holes. Thanks for checking this.

Re: DipTrace 4.0 beta

I think that there's a bug in dxf import in beta 3: Board outline imports perfectly and in the correct location, but mounting holes are all centered at the zero datum.

Schematic Capture verification problem

The Beta 3 schematic verification is erroneously generating an error for the MUNxxxx number series of NPN transistors. The emitter pins are defined as "Power" instead of "Passive" and it reports a pin mismatch when the emitter is connected to an output pin (as when using a DTR or CTS pin on a USB br...

Re: DipTrace 4.0 beta

I don't know if this has already been answered, but how will licensing work with version 4? I currently own version 3.3.1.3. Thanks.

Re: DipTrace 4.0 beta

I just started using Beta 3. Really like the t-junctions and teardrops. A lot of great new features, and know that you are at a point where you need to declare this version as ready. Excellent job. At some point in the future (after you have had a chance to rest a bit after all this work), it would ...

Re: DipTrace 4.0 beta

Beta 2 looks good. It's nice to see that an image (logo) can be placed in a title block, and that its position will now anchor properly. I note that there have been no noticeable improvements to the title block editor, nor any ability to include an associated image there. Also, the bill of materials...

Re: DipTrace 4.0 beta

I think that you are correct about Delphi (or any other win programming language) not allowing you to peel off any form element that doesn't have its own handle, and drag it to another monitor.
