Minimum pin length?
I would like to create a "component" which is simply a single pad for connecting wire to an external component. My initial idea was to insert a single pin with length of zero. Nope, that doesn't work; apparently if I set the length less than about 0.004" it reverts to the default 0.01...

Re: Pattern not updating in layout after modification
I think I got it sorted, but it seems like an awfully convoluted process just to update a component/pattern.

Pattern not updating in layout after modification
After placing a component in my layout I noticed it didn't have a silk screen layer. So, I edited the pattern to include one and saved it. I then updated the component and saved it. Next I had to update the component in the schematic by reselecting the pattern to get it to recognize the updated patt...

Special characters changed in BOM
After changing all my schematics to true-type font so that special characters would display (specifically the ohm symbol - Ω) imagine my disappointment to discover that they were changed to "O" in the exported CSV file.

Pattern editor layer display
Is it possible, in the pattern editor, to select which layers are visible?
If so, how?
If not, why?

What is the red dot?
On some traces when I mouse over the corner of a trace a red dot appears, on others not so. I can't find an explanation of this anywhere. Please explain. While you're at it, can you explain how to predict what happens when you grab a trace to move/edit it? I get all kinds of random, spastic behavior...

Copper pour - unconnected island not removed
I'm posting this here since there doesn't seem to be a separate forum for bugz...
As you can see, this is clearly an unconnected island - not removed...- 16 Mar 2017, 09:35

Re: Ratlines won't go away
If you have a lot of identical sub-circuits to place, then the hierarchy tool might make things easier once you have mastered it. It is capable of automatically arranging components and internally routing them within each hierarchical block according to how you set up the first one. Worth pursuing ...

Re: Ratlines won't go away
I found and fixed that disconnect on layer 1. I seem to get those a lot using this "intuitive" interface for routing traces. "WTF" has become a staple of my vocabulary. Thanks for your input. Any tips on how to make this process less infuriating are welcome. FWIW, I'm reworking t...
