I thought that route keepout shapes could be used to keep the auto parts placement routine from putting parts where they are not wanted.
This does not actually seem to be the case.
It plasters parts all over my keepout shapes as well as poured copper pours.
How is one supposed to tell this routine where not to put parts?

In current version, auto-placement doesn't use route keepouts.
In next version, placement keepout layer will be added. Auto-placement will use objects on this layer.

I tried using board cutouts instead of route keepouts and that seems to be working for now.
