Dear DipTrace Team,

normaly every copper which is connected to a net or without net connection should end next to the Keepout, without an additional clearance.
As you can see in the attached picture between the copper and Keepout is an additional clearance of aprox. 1mm.

It would be great if the copper would end direct on the Keepout. So layouter doesn't need to make complicated adjustments.

Stefan

What is your "clearance" Setting on your copper pour? Is it zero?

What is your "line width" and "line spacing" set to?

This is the stuff in the "copper pour window".

Hy KOBE_13,

thanks that helps. :D

But I think it should be done anyway automatically, especially for people who doesn't use "Use Net Clearance" check box.

Thanks for help!

Stefan

We did zero clearance between copper pour and route keepout, but some users were surprised that copper pours in new version were different that in older versions if they opened existing projects. Therefore we decided to keep compatibility with older versions and roll back pouring procedure.

I suggest to create route keepout smaller to compensate distance between copper pour and route keepout.

Hey Alex,

that is the way I am doing it now. It is just not the best solution.

It's really cool that you are keeping it that way for older design. But I think you should change it with the next really BIG version change.
