Oh man, do I ever want to just reach over to the Design Manager box at right and do click-selects and ctrl-click-selects on component refdes's to select and unselect them. Is there a "Select By Name" already in the app that I am missing?

Love the programs and have had quick success with them.

My copper pours aren't staying back from other copper pours on other nets. Is there a way I can set that behavior?

Tonight for example Selecting Things drove me a bit crazy. I was trying to select 5 chips and their associated traces and vias to group them. So I could rotate the entire group of them.

Unfortunately there was a 4"x3" LCD display on the board behind the entire area where these small objects were. I think because of that it, when I clicked to SELECT it would continually assume I wanted to draw connections between nets. How can I force it to do selecting instead of net connecting?

I would like to know that as well... It also seems weird that it think you want to making new ratlines, even when the net structure is locked. It even tells you that you're not allowed if you actually try to connect it...

Components have type, value and RefDes attributes by default. What do you mean by "selecting by name"?

Is copper pour moved with other objects? Lock it to prevent moving.

If one wants to select a component to move, click on the component and do not click on its pads. Once you click on a pad, new connection will be started.
Component is highlighted in green if mouse hovers on the component. If few components overlap each other, highlighting works for one of them and you should click few times to select desired components.

meaning, it would be nice to pull up a pop-up box showing all components, and then ctrl-select U2, U3, C12, C15 only for example and then click OK to close the pop-up.

It is still unclear where you want to integrate that pop-up box and what you will do after selecting same type components.
