I have successfully imported the Eagle library called pinhead but it appears in Dip Trace as untitled and so far I have been unable to name it - what am I missing or doing wrong please?

How did you do the import and where did you find out how?

EDIT: It's okay. I figured it out. ;)

Sorry for the late reply.

Here is the method I use to export libraries from Eagle and import them into DipTrace. This works for Eagle 5.11.0 Light going to DipTrace 2.1.0.7

1) - Open Eagle control panel
2) - Expand the libraries tree
3) - Double click the library you wish to export to open the Eagle library tool
4) - In the library tool go to 'File' -> 'Export...'
5) - Choose 'Script'
6) - Select a directory and file name for the exported file and click 'Save'
7) - Open DipTrace Component Editor
8) - In the DipTrace Component Editor go to 'Library' -> 'Import' -> 'Eagle Script (*.scr)'
9) - Navigate to where you saved the file in step 6)
10) - Select the file you saved in step 6) and click 'Open'
11) - Still in the DipTrace Component Editor go to 'Library' -> 'Libray name and hint...'
12) - Give the library a name as it will appear in the library bar in DipTrace Schematic and a hint line then click 'Ok'
13) - Still in the DipTrace Component Editor go to 'Library' -> 'Save'
14) - Navigate to where you want to save the library. Usually where all your other library files are.
15) - Give the library file a name and click 'Save'

That's it.

n00b question: :-)

I am trying to import Wurth's selection of passive components and magnetics.
PassiveStd Eagle

and
Passive Magnetics

I have added the libraries to Eagle 5.12 - and exported as Script. The script files are about 500-700 kb. (I have tried exporting from 6.1 as well)

But when I try to import in Component Editor - no components are imported. But I do not get any error messages or anything.

Any help appreciated!

/K

The bug has been fixed, but the fix will be included in the next build.
You can find imported libraries in the archive.

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
