I have a 4k Dell XPS15 laptop that I was running 64 bit Diptrace on but changed to 32 bit until the fix for tiny icons issue comes out (apparently it's not fixed in 3.1).
Having upgraded my desktop PC to 3.1, I was trying to work with footprints on my laptop but it insisted that I upgrade to the latest version because the file that I was working on was created in a later version. So I upgraded to vn 3.1 32 bit and that went well.
I then downloaded the 1.4 Gbyte models 3d.exe file but when I try to run it it ends with no messages and a xmodels3d.log file appears that contains the following...

I tried a reboot and I also tried running as administrator. Please advise on what I should do next
Unable to Install 3D Models
Re: Unable to Install 3D Models
Please make sure drive C has enough free space. It should be 9Gb or more.
models3d.exe file may be corrupted while downloading. You can download the file again.
As alternative, you can download 3D models in zip archive and unzip 3D models where you want to.
