 Post subject: Copper clearance around a pour is not consistent

Hey,

I am using copper pour with special pad design. After pouring I saw that the copper clearance is not consistent. Is that a bug? See picture!

No, this is not bug. I suppose, special pad has few overlapping pads. One pad is rectangular, therefore "anticopper" is also rectangular for that pad. You can see small part of that "anticopper".

Oh OK!

now I undestand how the Diptrace is programmed for clearance recognition. No Problem!!!

Are there plans to provide other shapes for the pads?

Oval pads would be better than rectangle in your case. But if you need more shapes you can use polygonal pads.
