To get text nicely centered in boxes (e.g., the Revision box on one of Diptrace's standard templates), it's sometimes useful for the text to include an initial blank line. When the text is selected for editing, the initial blank line is trimmed away, so (irritatingly) it must be reinserted by the user.

I can't reproduce the issue. Could you send me screen-shoots or video that explain the problem to support at diptrace dot com.

OK, suppose I start with your normal template
Attachment:
1 before.JPG

and now I want this to be revision A
Attachment:
2 edit.JPG

but that looks ugly, squashed against the roof

so (see next message; attachment limit reached)

To center the "REV A" vertically, I can add a blank line

and the result looks pretty good

but now suppose I'm moving on to Revision B. When I open the field for editing, my initial blank line is lost

6 re-edit (blank line trimmed by Diptrace not by me).JPG

I can of course edit it back in, but that is a gratuitous PITA.

The attachments that I tried to insert in-line in my last two messages were somehow dis-ordered by the forum software. The images' names are in order (1 this, 2 that, 3 the other thing, etc.), so readers will need to mentally rearrange them (or the moderator is welcome to physically rearrange them) to make sense of my posts.

Now I see it. Thank you for the detailed report. We will correct the issue in the next version.
