I have a large schematic on one page. I am trying to cut and paste some of the material (not interconnected) to a newly created Page 2 so I can fit the drawings on 11x17 sheets.

When I cut the entire schematic from Page 1 and place on Page 2, it works fine, but when I attempt to cut some of the material and paste it onto page 2 my chips labeled 'IC2', 'IC3', etc. are being renumbered when I paste them into the second page. Other parts, resistors, caps and diodes, don't seem to have this problem. If I was copy and pasting, I would expect this because it would make duplicate parts, but when I am cutting, it seems like it shouldn't happen.

I do have a lot of CMOS chips and I am splitting the gates between the two pages.

Thanks for the report. In fact, it is known issue but we haven't fixed it yet because it has some nuances. We will probably add "move to sheet" option in future to fix the issue.
