I have a part that I created with unusual pads using the "Convert to PAD" option. When I place it on a pcb and display it in 3D preview, the RefDes for the part and a bunch of others are then displayed as copper. I will send an email to support@diptrace.com containing the files that demonstrate this problem.

Thank you for the files. I see the problem. We will fix it in the next version.
To fix your files now, you can ungroup the L1 pattern and group it to pattern back. There are phantom shapes in the pattern and they will gone if you ungroup and group the pattern.

Thanks for looking at the problem. Yes your temporary fix works, except that it removes the refdes from L1 when you do that.
As it is just a cosmetic issue I will just wait for the next version.
