I have a multi-part component (in this case a terminal strip), and I would prefer to have some of the pins on one sheet of the schematic and some of the pins on another sheet.

I dropped the component onto one of the sheets and connected several of the pins. Then I cut one of the unconnected pins and pasted it onto another sheet. When I did, the RefDes changed. It was originally TB2.5, but after pasting it became TB5.4.

Now that I know about this I can work around it, but if I had not noticed I could have gotten into trouble.

Everything else is working great, though! I'm enjoying DipTrace!

We know about such behaviour of the schematic program. We will try to fix it in next versions.

Thank you for the report.
