Having issues with the Eagle to Diptrace ULP freezeing sometimes. Dont happen all the time. Just certain files. Ive tried deleting patterns, traces, pads, and everything in Eagle. Still freezes.

If ULP freezes with certain files please send these files to DipTrace support or upload them on the forum.

Thank you for the files.
There is a problem with translating these Eagle boards to DipTrace using ULP. But we will introduce native import of Eagle files in the next version. ULPs won't be necessary. Native import already works here under source files. We translated your files, I have sent DipTrace ASCII files by email.

Thank you. Imported perfectly. I noticed the copper pours have the right priority. Makes things alot easier. When can we expect an update.

One thing I notice is that the component properties are all lost. The pattern name defaults to the RefDes and it loses the pattern name altogether..

Will there be a Beta version for users to test.

We have compared properties of few components in Eagle and imported DipTrace files, they are the same. If you have found any difference please let me know.

Beta version will be released prior stable release.

Here is a screen shot of the way it is now when using the ULP to convert. And the way it is with the files you sent me.

Please compare with component properties in Eagle. As you can see new import is more exact than previous import with ULP.
