 Post subject: V3 Pattern Editorbug under Windows 10/64bits

When opening the Pattern editor of version 3, I have an error message: "Access violation at 007102FB in module 'PattEdit.exe. Read FFFFFFFE address"
Under Windows 10/64 bits. It was the same thing with the beta 3. Works perfectly with version 2.9

I'm seeing the same thing, but I'm running Windows 8.1 64 bit. Above the erro message it says "Pattern Editor - _General.lib [Read-only]"

If I close it and re-open it, it usually works OK.

Please find PattEdit.exe in DipTrace folder, right click on it and choose "run as administrator". Now try to start Pattern editor.

Thanks for the suggestion, but running as Administrator doesn't seem to fix it. I also tried several compatibility modes with no success.

Please try to reinstall DipTrace to non-system drive or any except C:\Program Files\ folder.
Also we recommend to do it for all users of French version of Windows because there is strange problem with permissions on some folders where DipTrace saves files with settings.

Hi Alex-
I did an uninstall and a fresh reinstall to c:\Diptrace. I also re-installed the 3D models to the same directory. This problem and the 3D preview error still exist.
What else can I try?
