Please add teardrop function.
It is very necessary when you have very narrow tracks connected to headers or other through hole connectors.

Teardrops are currently not supported in DipTrace, but this feature has added to our plans.

This is the only thing Diptrace is missing for me plus the single component-multi pattern feature.

Also to vias, and certainly helpful even to SMT pads. As I understand it, it's difficult to control etching in the sharp corner where a trace meets a pad. Also, solder can dissolve the copper, and having a wider trace till you get under the solder mask can be helpful. A google search also turned up a problem in some PCB manufacturing processes with drilling pads with narrow annular rings that are attached to very narrow traces.

As I'm doing work with 4 mil traces, I add my voice to those wanting this feature.

Yes, this functionality is required very much, so my vote to add this feature as well. Currently, it takes time to do it manually.

Alex,
Hope the above requested feature is included in your next beta release?

I agree that this would be a great feature, did it ever get implemented?

Yes, this would be great. If it is configurable, we can implement it where tracks are connected to a through-hole connector (as an example).

This would automatically neck up the width of the track to provide extra strength against any mechanical forces being applied to the connector.
