Hi,
it would be great if we can already "reuse" the already existing 3D models created for Eagle in

the Eagle3D project
http://www.matwei.de/doku.php?id=en:eagle3d:eagle3d
check the library to see the number of models
http://www.matwei.de/doku.php?id=en:eagle3d:library

and EagleULP
http://eagleup.wordpress.com/
check their lib http://eagleup.wordpress.com/warehouse/

Eagle3D models have been created with PovRay and EagleUp models have been created with Google Sketchup. So I think their format can easily be imported to be used by DipTrace.

Maybe a good path to answer my question: There is a plugin that let you import/export Povray files in Wings

wings-povray - Povray import/export plug-in for Wings 3D
