Hi

I am currently working a design and I use mounting holes for placing a radiator and pressing it on a motor controller. The radiator covers a large size of the PCB but touches actually only the controller.

I think it would be useful to be able to choose the outer diameter for holes differently for the two sides of the PCB. For the moment I have large outer diameters of the holes and they are necessary only on one side, where the screw is touching the PCB. On the other side they take only place I would happily use for routing.

Could a different outer diameter be chosen for the two sides of the PCB?

Regards
Cristian

Hi Cristian,

You can right click on a pad and select "Hide pad ring in layer" item from submenu. It will reduce pad size in current layer to hole size.

Hello.

Thank you for the answer.
I've tried to do it, but it does not work for mounting holes. It works for pads, but for holes nothing happens.

Hi

Can you confirm that it does not work for mounting holes please? I am not sure if I am missing something or this is the normal behavior.
If it is not possible for holes, can you consider the suggestion for new versions?

Regards
Cristian
