Currently new nets get the name net<n>. So you have to retype every net to get a useful name.

Suggested default name = pin name you connect e.g. ADR0

Think about connecting IC pins which have real names (e.g. ADR0, ADR1 .. ADR63, VCC, RESETn etc.).

Proposed interaction to connect pins to net: The default name (e.g. ADR0) ist displayed and may be edited and/or directly accepted (enter/click ok)
If the net name already exists the option "connect by name" is displayed.

What do you think?

Whoa this is great, and the first pin to start the net names it!

Good idea, I like vec7or's idea as well.
Just a remark. Please auto_increment unique nets. Eg. a unique net connected to OUT would be called OUT. Another net connected to another auto would be OUT_1. Also give preference to names over numbers, (or completely avoid numbers) to prevent all kinds of nets attached to resistors to be called 1_...
