Hello All,

I've downloaded Wing 3D, but, I am not able to get started with making components. I could not find any sample's to start with either. I was able to find and download (for FREE) 4 of the last 5 components that I need, but Wing did not recognize them and I don't know how to change them (File type:SLDPRT).

Basically I'm lost....do I want to learn another program, not really, but looks like I'm gonna have to for my project to be completed with 3d mode.
TASK:
1) convert file type:SLDPRT to work with DIPTRACE 3D mode.
2) save to correct file location.
3) size it so it's not to big or small

1. Using eDrawings(free): Open .SLDPRT or .SLDASM ---> Save As .STL

2. Import .STL using Wings3D or Blender(2.49b)

3. Export .VRML

export to VRML items " the file name *.VRML change to *.wrl that ok

Wings 3d can only input 3ds files ,you can use my tool to tranlate 3ds from vrml wrl
