Creating patterns wiht tracks - for keyboard contacts...

#1 Post by conzertino » 14 Feb 2015, 00:39

Hi, I am new here. May be the question is basic!?

How can I create a pattern including actual tracks? I need a pattern with interleaved tracks for a keyboard contact ( no external component, just a repeatable track-pattern ).

Another application could be an IC-pattern with certain pins already connected by tracks...

You can use shapes on signal layers in Pattern editor. For example, you can use polyline of given width. Add small pad where you intend to connect pattern's track with PCB trace. And get ready to see some DRC errors in PCB Layout if pattern's tracks shortcircuit some pads.
